With the FRM220-Serial media converters, asynchronous data terminals with speeds up to 1 Mbps and different interfaces (RS232, RS485) can be connected via FO.
If the FRM220-Serial is used together with the 19-inch rack and a network management card, the devices can be monitored and configured locally or remotely via SNMP or in-band management.
